Atlus (アトラス) is a video game developer and publisher based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. They are mostly known for their Megami Tensei RPG series. Their North American branch, Atlus USA, is strictly a publisher, often localising niche Japanese games for western audiences.

After a series of ownership changes, the company and what was then its parent, Index Holdings, was purchased by Sega-Sammy Holdings in the summer of 2013; their fate is unknown, other than they will continue to exist.
