Dynamic Country Club (ダイナミックカントリークラブ) is a 1991 arcade golf game by Sega released on Sega System 24 hardware. Both floppy disk-based and ROM board-based versions of the game exist. The game presents itself in a pseudo-3D setting a la T&E Soft golf games like Pebble Beach Golf Links where the screen slowly redraws itself at certain intervals in your swing.

A game with the same name for the Sega Mega-CD was produced, but only released in Japan. Whether or not this is the same game is unknown.

Dynamic Country Club (ダイナミックカントリークラブ) is a Sega System 24 arcade golf game developed by Sega AM3[1] and manufactured by Sega. Released exclusively to Japanese arcades in June 1991, it was later ported to the Sega Mega-CD in July 1993 (also a Japanese exclusive.)

Gameplay

The game renders the gamefield in three-dimensional polygons, slowly redrawing the screen as the course is played through, similar to T&E Soft titles like Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Hardware

The original arcade version of Dynamic Country Club was released on both ROM board and floppy disk-based hardware.

History

Development

The Mega-CD version was developed by a company other than Sega, under supervision from the Sega Planning Production Dept.[5]. The studio developing the port had no prior experience with polygonal environments[5].
