Shenmue Gai (シェンムー 街) was a social game based on Shenmue which operated between late 2010 and late 2011. It was released via the Yahoo! Mobage portal in Japan, which had premiered in beta form earlier in 2010.
Both Windows PC and mobile versions of Shenmue Gai were planned, but only the mobile version was released.
Being a Japanese exclusive mobile game with a short operating period, little is known of Shenmue Gai's contents, though likely recreated the events of the original Shenmue rather than progress the story like (the then still anticipated) Shenmue III.
