Shinichi Ogasawara (小笠原 慎一) is a Japanese businessman and game designer. He joined Sega in April 1994 as a graduate of Doshisha University,[2] choosing the company for its then-involvement in a diverse range of businesses.[3] During the 1990s, he was mainly involved in arcade video games at AM3.
As AM3 became Hitmaker in 2000, Ogasawara's attention turned to less conventional titles, including games for the Plus e restaurant touchscreen terminals and later support for the Dinosaur King series.[3] After moving to AM1, he has led game development at Sega Amusements International since 2015.[3]
