Michael "Mike" Hayes is an English businessman best known as the president of Sega West. He is best-known amongst Sega fans for restoring Sega's dominance in Europe by acquiring and setting up the game development studio Sega Racing Studio (now defunct) and acquiring video game studios such as Creative Assembly and Sports Interactive. He replaced Simon Jeffery as President Sega of America in June 2009; when this happened, the American and European divisions merged to give birth to Sega West. This made Hayes the executive at all Western Sega branches, including America, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain.

Before joining Sega of Europe, Hayes worked as a marketer for Codemasters Ltd.
