The VHS cassette of What's Shenmue (What's シェンムー) (not to be confused with a Sega Dreamcast demo disc of the same name) is a video released in Japan to introduce and promote the Sega Dreamcast game, Shenmue. It is thought to have been released in the first half of 1999.
What's Shenmue primarily consists of gameplay footage and cutscenes recorded from a prototype version of the game. There are a number of differences to the final product, including assets which would not be seen until Shenmue II, though the core of what is seen is largely identical to the final product.
