The Electronic Entertainment Expo 1999 (E3 1999) was the fifth E3 event to take place. E3 1999 saw the convention return to the Los Angeles Convention Center in California.
A good chunk of the Sega setpieces used at E3 1999 (particularly the Sonic Adventure area of the booth) where shipped to Orlando, Florida in the months which followed, and used for the Innoventions museum at Epcot.
