Shinichi Ogasawara (小笠原 慎一) is a Japanese businessman and game designer. He joined Sega in April 1994 as a graduate of Doshisha University,[2] choosing the company for its then-involvement in a diverse range of businesses.[3] During the 1990s, he was mainly involved in AM3 arcade video games.

As AM3 became Hitmakerin the 2000s, Ogasawara's attention turned to less conventional concepts, including games for the Plus e restaurant touchscreen terminals and later development support for the Dinosaur King series.[3] Since 2015, he has led game development at Sega Amusements International.[3]
