Welcome to Sega Retro, a project from the people behind Sonic Retro. We aim to cover everything possible about Sega from the 1940s to today. We currently are working on 43,682 articles and have many more that are requested to be worked on.
While this wiki is designed to help the community by providing information, it is also dependent on the community to be updated. Anyone with an account may edit the wiki. As you feel more comfortable with the site, please feel free to make any changes or additions that you feel necessary.

- Sign up for a Sega Retro account and become part of our group of editors (If you have a Sonic Retro account please use the same username for your account here)
- We have lots of game pages that are in desperate need of more information. If you know your way around some of these games, help us out by telling us how to play or what to expect. We also have many pages that still need to be made.
- We are always on the lookout for high quality, unmarked, genuine game media scans. If you notice a poor quality or missing scan of a game you have, please help by making a scan and replacing the bad one. You can use our scan tracker to track our progress.
- Log on to Discord and join #sega, our dedicated channel
- From another country or speak another language? Help us by providing otherwise difficult-to-get information about Sega in mainland Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, or by translating texts from Japanese.

- 1992 - Bare Knuckle: Ikari no Tekken is released for the Sega Game Gear alongside Dennin-Aleste: Nobunaga and his Ninja force for the Sega Mega-CD in Japan.
- 1995 - Solar Eclipse is released for the Sega Saturn in North America.
- 1997 - Blue Breaker: Ken yorimo Hohoemi wo, Bubble Symphony, Gaia Breeder, GranDread, Message Navi, Nanatsu Kaze no Shima Monogatari, Private Idol Disc Vol. 8: Furukawa Emiko, Refrain Love: Anata ni Aitai, Sega Ages Memorial Selection Vol. 2, Sega Touring Car Championship, Sound Novel Tsukuru 2, Vandal Hearts: Ushinawareta Kodai Bunmei, Warcraft II: The Dark Saga, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto Illustrations are released for the Sega Saturn in Japan.

- 2000 - Dorimaga GD Vol. 8 is released for the Sega Dreamcast in Japan. Disney's Dinosaur is released for the Sega Dreamcast in France. Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! and Disney's Dinosaur are released for the Sega Dreamcast in Spain.
- 2003 - Ever 17: the out of infinity: Premium Edition and Renai Chu! Happy Perfect are released for the Sega Dreamcast alongside Usagi: Yasei no Touhai: Yamashiro Mahjong Hen for the PlayStation 2, and Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus and Phantasy Star Online Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution for the Nintendo Gamecube in Japan.
- 2006 - Ecco the Dolphin is released for the Wii Virtual Console in North America.
- 2007 - Langrisser is released for the Wii Virtual Console in Japan. Der Goldene Kompass is released for the Nintendo DS in Germany. Medieval II: Total War is released on Steam in North America and Europe.
- 2008 - StarHorse 2 Fourth Ambition, a medal game, is released in Arcades alongside Kaite Oboeru Doragana for the Nintendo DS and Puyo Puyo Solitaire for EZweb (BREW 3.1) compatible phones through Sega's Puyo Puyo! Sega portal, all in Japan.
- 2009 - Jambo! Safari: Animal Rescue is released for the Nintendo DS in France while Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye is released for the Wii Virtual Console alongside Planet 51: The Game for the Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS in Europe.
- 2012 - Fighting Vipers, Sonic the Fighters, and Virtua Fighter 2 are released for the PlayStation 3 in North America.
- 2013 - Phantasy Star Online 2 Original Sound Tracks Vol. 2, Sakura Taisen New York Hoshigumi Show 2013: Wild West Kibou, a CD for the stage play of the same name, and Sonic Lost World Original Soundtrack Without Boundaries, all CDs, are released alongside Sonic Lost World Original Soundtrack Without Boundaries being made available for download from Amazon and iTunes, as well as the Mora streaming platform in Japan.
