Shining Force CD (シャイニングフォースCD) is a compilation of two previously released Shining Force games - Shining Force Gaiden and Shining Force II: The Sword of Hajya, both originally for the Sega Game Gear. Shining Force CD makes significant improvements to the graphics as well as offering a higher quality CD audio soundtrack.

- Book 3 (an exclusive chapter unlocked by completing Book 1 and Book 2, taking place after the main story and very tounge-in.cheeky in nature)
- Book 4 (an exclusive challenge scenario, unlocked by collecting the Museum Ticket in Book 2)
