F-22 Interceptor: Advanced Tactical Fighter (F22インターセプター) is a flight simulation shoot-'em-up game developed and published by Electronic Arts for the Sega Mega Drive. It has the player pilot a fictional F-22 jet fighter, blowing up airebourne enemies and ground targets. The game was released in late 1991, a full fourteen years before the F-22 Raptor came into service.

F-22 Interceptor was initially marketed as F-22 Interceptor II[8], possibly as a sequel to an earlier 1988 Amiga game, F/A-18 Interceptor. The two games were produced by different development teams, and aside from being aircraft simulators published by EA, are completely different products.

Gameplay

F-22 is a flight simulator which uses 3D polygons for objects. There are multiple camera perspectives.
