Kazuhisa Hasuoka (蓮岡 和久) is a chief programmer of Sega. He joined in 1994 and was assigned to the Game Gear-focused Sega CS5 department. He then moved to Sega PC where he established a long working relationship with Shun Arai, his future president at Smilebit[2]. Hasuoka migrated from Smilebit to Amusement Vision in 2003, where he was a cutscene graphics programming for Yakuza games. Across many departments, from Software R&D Dept. 6 to CS1, he was also a programmer on the Let's Make Soccer/Saka Tsuku series.
He became involved with mobile games in the early 2010's. While only some of his works are known, he is still working at Sega as of 2023, since his credits in the Yakuza games have yet to be removed as is standard practice with former employees.
