Tips for dealing with the internet
*Most databases are wrong

*GameFAQs is less wrong than Mobygames

*Guardiana is less wrong than GameFAQs

*Satakore/SMS Power are less wrong than Guardiana

*Japanese -> English translations are mostly wrong

**~subtitles should not be like this~ -or this- in english names

**ō = ou | ū = uu

**colons are rare

**spacing may not be correct

*vgmdb is very wrong when it comes to names

*watermarks are common

*Most Dreamcast scans are fake - see spine for product code, PAL games =/= jewel case

*modestly cleaned scans are okay. Otherwise... probably fake and wrong

*thecoverproject.net is not a good idea for this reason (though its set of raw cover scans can be alright)

Re: Quick question 2: the questioning
Probably. Definitely the same one who worked on THofD2 (b/c they're both AM1 made). Guess he did get promoted to AM1 (3 years ['94-'97] isn't too big a gap, right? ^^;), but hey, what do I know? I'm not even sure if he did the other stuff on here (from '93-'01, anyway).

As for red links, I've pretty much been spoiled by MobyGames (just look at what I did to the likes of Vectorman 2, Streets of Rage 3 and Sega Rally Championship), so I'm just being lazy there since arcade game pages don't exist. At the very least, the text exists to be searched for now.

Besides, I've run into my own dilemma in the arcade sector: Keisuke Tsukahara the cabinet designer vs. Keisuke Tsukahara the sound designer. I'm just writing what was in the game to begin with and sticking to what I know for now: taking them down one at a time (game or person) with an occasional detour (Kunitake Aoki, Hiroaki Chino, etc.) and marking the few obvious ones (Hisao Oguchi, Tetsuya Mizuguchi, Naoya Tsurumi, etc.). More likely now, actually. There is an "A.Watanabe" credited for design with Indy 500 (1995) and WaveRunner (1996), both times with top billing, just like with Motor Raid and THotD2. I think it's safe to say they're one in the same now. E-102 06:39, 22 April 2012 (CDT)

Nobody has ever kept records (except one Spanish site?) so lots and lots of missing stuff ahead.
