Like the Sega Master System and Sega Mega Drive before it, the Sega Saturn was distributed by Tectoy in Brazil. Like the North American models they run at 60Hz NTSC frequency (PAL-M, to be exact) and a couple of the Japanese color schemes made it to this region. Like previous SEGA consoles released in Brazil, they are fully compatible with all games released in North America. In fact, most of the Tectoy Saturn games were simply US discs in Brazilian packaging.
