NFL 2K is an American football game for the Sega Dreamcast. It was not released in Europe. During development it was known by the slightly longer title, NFL 2000.

Development
A the time of development, American football games on the PlayStation or Nintendo 64 would typically have around 250 animations (according to Visual Concepts). NFL 2K by contrast, has between 1,500 and 1,700 motion-captured animations from 14 different athletes (captured during the course of 16 days)[9].
