Crazy Taxi 2 is a Sega Dreamcast-only sequel to the arcade game Crazy Taxi.

Gameplay

Crazy Taxi 2 is very similar to that of its predecessor, however there are now two extra cities (loosely based on New York) and an extra four new drivers. It also allows multiple passengers to be picked up at once. Crazy Box is replaced with a new "Crazy Pyramid" mode, which offers more minigames in different environments.

Like its predecessor, many of the locations are fictionalised branches of real-life retail and restaurant chains, including HMV, Hard Rock Cafe, FAO Schwarz, Burger King and Gap.

History

Legacy

To this day, Crazy Taxi 2 remains a Dreamcast exclusive, however its maps were included as part of the PlayStation Portable game Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars several years later.
