Shinobi (忍) is an entry to the Shinobi series, though is unrelated to the 1987 Sega System 16 release of Shinobi despite its title. It was developed by Overworks and published by Sega for the PlayStation 2 in 2002.
It was followed by a sequel known as Nightshade.
