The RetroGen is an accessory for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, allowing the console to play Sega Mega Drive games. The device was released in 2012 by Retro-Bit, and likely has no backing from either Sega or Nintendo.
The RetroGen is less impressive than it sounds - it is effectively a Mega Drive console housed within a SNES game cartridge.
