Izuho Numata
Employment history:
Role(s): Musician

Izuho Numata (沼田 出穂) is a former Sega sound composer best known for her lead composition roles for the latter half of the first Phantasy Star series (succeeding Tokuhiko Uwabo). She was known by her maiden name Izuho Takeuchi (竹内 出穂) during her employment and has since married Kazuhiro Numata.

She was usually credited by her alias Ippo, which resulted in some confusion between her and Ippo Yamada, a male Capcom employee (who is now an employee of Inti Creates Co., Ltd.) who used the same alias. Her first game with original music was a cancelled Sega Master System title played with the Light Phaser, and which used a voice clip of Katsuhiro Hayashi.[2]
