Mamoru Shigeta (重田 守) is a former Sega employee who held the title of Executive Producer during the early Saturn era.
He was often senior to producers Hiroshi Aso and Yoji Ishii.
History
Mamoru Shigeta worked for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation and a foreign trading company for textile machinery before meeting Irem's then-president Kenjo Tsujimoto (who later became president of Capcom), and joining Irem. Shigeta later served as the head of development at Jaleco and as president and CEO of Sanritsu. In June 1992, he founded SIMS in collaboration with Sega.[1]
