The House of the Dead III (ザ・ハウス・オブ・ザ・デッド3) is an entry to the The House of the Dead series, and a direct sequel to The House of the Dead 2. It was initially developed by WOW Entertainment and published by Sega for Sega Chihiro arcade hardware in 2003, before being ported to the Xbox in the same year and Windows PCs in 2005. It has since been re-released on the Wii as part of The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return. A version for the PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support was released by Sega in early 2012.
