Taku Kihara (木原 卓), also known as Takuan (たくあん), is mainly known for his public relations work, but has also worked as a graphic designer on Shenmue and sub director/planner on Virtua Fighter 5.
As publicist, he wrote many updates on the AM2 of CRI and Sega-AM2 websites' Weekly-AM2 column.[2] Starting March 4, 2003, he also wrote the self-titled Takuandou (Placeholder) (たくあん堂 (仮)) corner, which covered news of varying levels of importance.[3]
