The Genesis CDX Carrycase is an official carrying case for the Sega Multi-Mega (Genesis CDX in North America) console.
It is designed to house a Multi-Mega unit, two Control Pads, six full-size CD-ROMs, five Mega Drive catridges, the console's power and AV cables, and a pair of stereo headphones. The case claims to assist the Multi-Mega to achieve its secondary function as a portable console - the device can be powered by batteries, though with no built-in screen, it acts more as a glorified CD-player while on the go.
The CDX Carrycase is the only known separately-released accessory for the Multi-Mega, as the combined console was only produced in relatively small numbers worldwide.
