One of SEGA's most loved creatives, Sonic Team took their name from their phenomenally successful Sonic the Hedgehog series. They were formerly SEGA AM8.

The former head of the development team was Yuji Naka, producer and visionary; under his leadership they have realized some of the most beautiful gaming moments ever.
