The Modern Mate is a very rare unlicensed console that combines the features of a Japanese Sega Mega Drive with a Nintendo Famicom, possibly one of the first consoles to do so.
Very little is known about the system, though it appears there is a joystick and six buttons built into the console, making it a bit impractical. Bizarrely the system seems to claim it is a "24-bit" console by adding the 16-bit processor of the Mega Drive to the 8-bit one of the Famicom.
