This short article is in need of work. You can help Sega Retro by adding to it.
The Python 3 is a third-party accessory developed by QuickShot for the Sega Mega Drive. It is a joystick, and a "sequel" to the Python 1 and Python 2.
The numbers dictate how many buttons the joystick has - as the Mega Drive is the only system to use DE-9 controller ports and support three buttons, the Python 3 is only compatible with this system. The Python 2 had been compatible with various computers of the day, as well as the Sega Master System.
