The Sega Genesis Ultimate Portable Game Player is a handheld Sega Mega Drive console using console on a chip technology and is manufactured by AtGames. The console has a backlit LCD screen, SD card slot, headphone jack, rechargable battery, and TV out connector.
As with previous Sega Mega Drive consoles released by AtGames, the sound emulation is poor and game compatibility is mediocre. There is no official ROM compatibility list.
40 Commercial games, and 40 ATGames developed games are included on the unit, with more games available through the use of a SD card.
Usage
A standard SD card (max size 2 GB) can be used to store and use ROMs on the unit. (SDHC and SDXC are not supported.) Games should be stored in the /games folder on the SD card in standard binary format. (Only the '.bin' extension is recognized.)
Saving is not supported for any Genesis games that used battery-backed SRAM.
