Resident Evil, known as Bio Hazard (バイオ ハザード) in Japan, is the first in a long line of survival horror games developed and published by Capcom. Development
The Saturn port of Resident Evil stems not just from an earlier PlayStation version, but an unreleased upgrade called Biohazard Dash, which would have featured minor tweaks and alterations to the game[11].
