Go Sega was a year-long event celebrating 60 years since Sega was incorporated in Japan (1960-2020). The company released a number of products and merchandise over the year in celebration, notably the Astro City Mini and Game Gear Micro.

Limited-time free games
From October 15th to October 18th, 2020, four free-to-play games were released on Steam for a limited time. All games were delisted on October 19th, 2020.

During October 2020, Steam Library artwork for various Sega-published games on Steam were temporarily changed to resemble boxarts for various Sega consoles from various regions including the Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive, Sega Game Gear, Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast.
