Takashi Atsu (厚 孝) is a chief programmer of Sega. He joined in 1997 and was assigned to the Sega PC department. At Smilebit, he developed several games for Dreamcast and Xbox before migrating to Amusement Vision in 2003. He later worked on the Yakuza series beginning with its PlayStation 3 entries as part of the library team, and was also the lead programmer for Binary Domain. In July 2015 he became the manager of the Advance Technology Development Team for CS1 Studio[1].

Since the merger between AM2 and Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, he has also been involved with the Virtua Fighter franchise.
