Team Andromeda was a division within Sega AM6 created in 1994. It is responsible for the Panzer Dragoon series, and was merged back into Sega AM6 (later Smilebit) in 1998.
Like Team Aquila, Team Andromeda was named after a constellation to keep with the "space" theme Sega had adopted with their Sega planet codenames.
