==Description==

"Take a ride with one of the world’s best-known video game characters, Sonic the Hedgehog, and feel the jaw-dropping sensation of a 9 metre drop - with a twist!"{{ref|https://web.archive.org/web/20160414170236if_/http://segarepublic.com/en/Explore/attractionsdetail.aspx?block=8#.Vw_NOuj7SUk/}}

==Ride Experience==

Sonic Hopper! is a 9-meter drop tower attraction. However, unlike most, it has the ability for the cars to rotate around the tower as it goes up and shoots back down from a corkscrew feature, which gives the ride a twist compared to other drop towers. There are five ride vehicles painted in different colors that can hold a maximum of two riders, for a total of 10 riders altogether.

On the top of the ride sat a giant statue of Sonic the Hedgehog holding a flag with the Sega Republic logo on it.
