X-Men: Children of the Atom (エックス・メン チルドレン オブ ジ アトム) is an arcade fighting game developed by Capcom which makes use of Marvel's X-Men superhero/comic book franchise. It is unrelated to the later comic book series of the same name, apart from the fact the two use the same franchise.

Originally released for Capcom CPS-2 hardware in 1994, it was brought to the Sega Saturn in 1995, and is built similarly to the likes of Street Fighter II' and Darkstalkers. The game was widely praised as a result, but also because of the colorful graphics and voice actors from the then popular X-Men cartoon series.

Much was recycled from X-Men: Children of the Atom in later Capcom fighting games, including Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.
