Greendog: The Beached Surfer Dude! is a sidescrolling action game developed for the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear.
The game is based on an obscure board game called Surf Trip[8][9][10][11], created by Ric Green[12] (Richard L. Green[13]) and illustrated by American artist Cam de Leon[14][15], published and released in 1988, by Surf Trip, Inc.[13][8] (Manhattan Beach, California).
