Hisaki "Saki" Nimiya (荷宮 尚樹) joined Sega in April 1988, primarily undertaking English co-ordination research and development.[1] His first notable contribution was Columns design features; following this, he became a planning section manager of AM3. Nimiya played a significant role in the creation of titles such as Dennou Senki Net Merc, where English communication with developers from Virtuality was key.[2]
