Beast In Darkness is a medium-sized attraction designed by Sega for theme park venues. Little is known about it, however it is thought to have relied on very little technology, and was instead more akin to a typical haunted house/ghost train-type attraction.

Plot

"Deep within the earth's core lurks a terrifying beast... hungry for freedom, its favourite snack is children, who will be most welcome in this world of no shadows."

Locations

Beast In Darkness made its debut at Tokyo Joypolis upon its July 1996 opening, and was also installed at SegaWorld London around the same time. It is not known to have made appearances at any other venues.
