The MegaRetroN HD is an unlicensed Sega Mega Drive clone console by Hyperkin released in 2018.
It outputs a 720p signal through it's HDMI port and also has composite video output. It also has an aspect ratio switch, allowing for a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. There is a switch for selecting between NTSC-U, NTSC-J and PAL regions. The console is powered by a micro usb cable.
The system is compatible with Everdrive flash cartridges and high capacity multicarts. Unlike most Mega Drive clone consoles, it is compatible with Virtua Racing and it does output true stereo sound. It is also compatible with Master System games (either through a converter or Everdrive), however it will not display them correctly through HDMI when the system is set to NTSC-U or NTSC-J.
