The Super Retro Trio Plus is a clone console manufactured by Retro-bit, which first appeared on the market in 2018. Taking advantage of expired patents, it combines an NES, an Super NES, and a Sega Mega Drive console into a single unit. It is based on the TCT-6803 console-on-a-chip. It is a successor to the Super Retro Trio, with the added features of HDMI output and a micro usb based power supply. It retails for $79.99 in North America. It is available in white/red for NTSC regions and black/blue for PAL regions.
It is also available as the Super Retro Trio Plus: Joe & Mac Edition which is limited to 1,000 units and includes a limited edition Ice Age Blue Joe & Mac 3-in-1 SNES cartridge.
Despite having an HDMI output and dual audio jacks on the rear, the console only outputs dual mono sound across all three platforms. There is a 4-position region switch for the Mega Drive side, which allows it to be compatible with Mega Drive games from any region. The button layout for Mega Drive games when using the included controllers is weird, but it does have controller ports for using original controllers. The SNES side suffers from poor audio and video quality.
