The 2007 release of the Mega Drive 3 is a "console on a chip" Sega Mega Drive distributed exclusively in Brazil by Tec Toy. It was the company’s final console based off a Sega design, and the first to not include a cartridge slot.

Design
The console is physically identical to a Sega Mega Drive 2, though is painted white with blue logotype. It does not feature a cartridge slot, and unlike previous models, only supports composite video output.
Customizability
The system’s inital release included a purple marker intended for customizing its white canvas-like surface with art, decorations, and the like. Later releases did not ship with an included marker, although the system retained its white surface.
Release
As is standard for Tec Toy releases, the system shipped with two Six Button Control Pads.
