The Mega Dream Series is a group of Russian Sega Mega Drive clones by Simba's.[1] It was a short-lived series of consoles from this manufacturer, therefore consoles from this series are rarer than other clones. The backstage of this series is unknown. Perhaps the creation of the series was related to the purchase of the Mega Drive trademark in Russia by Videogames Co. Ltd. in 2003. This theory can be confirmed that the Mega Dream series consoles have the same names as the Mega Drive clones produced by Simba's. Another confirmation might be that the clones from this series were discontinued around 2006/2007 when the rights to the Mega Drive brand were bought by a company cooperating with Simba's.
