N. Pro. R&D Dept. (Nプロ研究開発部) or Next Products Research and Development Dept. (also stylized as N.pro R&D Dept.[1]) was an arcade department that spun off from Product R&D. It was dedicated to develop new kinds of arcade games with more novel arcade cabinets than of the past. [2]. It merged back into Product R&D.
