The Sega Genesis Gencore is a "console on a chip" manufactured by AtGames and distributed by Hyperkin in 2009. It is an unusual console, shaped like the head of Sonic the Hedgehog, and can play Sega Mega Drive games of all regions. It has also been called the Firebox and Diamond Console.
It has a cartridge slot and features 20 built-in games. The system is bundled with two six button controllers, and has "wireless capability for a future device". It is unknown what this "future device" is, but is likely to be AtGames' own brand of wireless controllers used with other AtGames consoles.
