Family Entertainment (ファミリーエンターテインメント) is the successor to Mirai R&D. It continued to focus on kids arcade games. It also produced some of the handheld adaptions of the arcade games. It closed during the 2010 restructure. Sega continued to develop arcade games for kids as well their respective adaptions for portable devices within their development divisions.
