The HK-986 is an unlicensed Sega Mega Drive clone console manufactured in Taiwan by Hao Kang Electronics Industry Co., Ltd. (豪康電子工業有限公司). Comes with two turbo controllers, ac adapter, monaural composite cable and instruction manual in Chinese.
It's a fairly standard clone of the Japanese Mega Drive. Region is set to Japan and the tv system is NTSC. It is compatible with Sega Mega-CD. It uses a 5-pin DIN socket for the av-out instead of a 9-pin DIN socket, so Sega 32X is not compatible out of the box.
