AM Plus R&D Dept.[1] (AMプラス研究開発部)[2] was a division of Sega, headed by Yu Suzuki. It was the logical continuation of DigitalRex. It was founded on April 1 2005 and held a standalone position within the Amusement R&D Div.[3][4]
AM Plus operated outside of the traditional AM departments for a small number of years, before being closed. Staff were spread across other internal AM departments, including Yu Suzuki, who would play a non-executive advisory role before retiring from Sega in 2009.
