The base unit consists of a disc drive and wireless controller, and can run Sega Mega-CD and Sega Saturn software out of the box, as well as discs for the CD-ROM², Super CD-ROM², Arcade CD-ROM², Neo Geo CD and PlayStation. Each module adds support for cartridges/cards and original controllers, with "Power" covering the Nintendo Entertainment System and Famicom, "Turbo" the PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16, "Super" the Super NES, and "Mega" the Sega 32X and Sega Mega Drive.
The console is completely region free for all systems and relies on emulation, sourced from a number of different developers (including Steve Snake of Kega Fusion fame).
