Marza Animation Planet (マーザ・アニメーションプラネット株式会社) is a Japanese animation studio that is owned by Sega Sammy Holdings. It is a continuation of Visual Entertainment R&D Dept., a "CG image production" department of Sega, which was spun-off into a separate company in June 2009[1]. It was briefly known as Sega Sammy Visual Entertainment Inc. before adopting its current name in July 2010.
Marza Animation Planet produces computer generated animation, mainly seen as pre-rendered movies in video games, but also some feature films. It is currently a subsidiary of TMS Entertainment (which in turn is owned by Sega Holdings, owned by Sega Sammy Holdings).
