The Saturn Backup Memory cartridges was officially supported in many game world wide.
- Some games such as Sky Target only support saving to Internal battery memory and will not save directly to cartridge, (although secondary backups can be made with the memory managers Copy function, those games will not load from cartridge) and games like Clockwork Knight don't allow the saving of progress at all.
