This short article is in need of work. You can help Sega Retro by adding to it.

Padis (Падис) was Russian video game distributor founded in 1994 by Baskakov Pavel Vladimirovich [1]. The company started out as a reseller of the Steepler assortment. In the second half of the 90s, it had two own stores - Mikki and TKS. From around 1998, they began switching from selling someone licensed and unlicensed consoles to their own production. They started with counterfeit Sega Mega Drive 2, translating games for this console, creating their own game boxes and publishing of their own games. In 1999, they formed the New Game company, dealing with most of the responsibilities related to the sale, production of game boxes and the release of own games. Padis stayed behind, buying trademarks and translating games into Russian.
