Sega R&D Soft Dept. #6 was a video game research and development division within Sega and successor to Sega CS1 and Sega PC, with some sports game developers from CS2.
R&D #6 only existed for fourteen months before becoming Smilebit. It is assumed that the department operated similarly to CS1, just with a new name.
